In case you were wondering about the name, given that the previous version was 3.0, it’s because Audition is now part of Adobe’s Creative Suite of software. (If you look closely, you may see the odd reference to it being version 4.0.)

We’ve been using 5.5 for several months now, having been on the beta program, and are up to speed on all it offers.  It’s something we use everyday in our own audio production work so the teaching we offer is based on our own hard graft and an awful lot of practice.

We’re looking forward to welcoming new trainees, as Audition makes the leap to being cross platform. Mac users… welcome to our world!
